Fortune founded Savannah Capital in 2021 to showcase the positive narrative of African origin research-based, tech and tech enabled innovation.

A big four trained accountant with UK/EU and emerging markets experience, Fortune was a Corporate banker in London for 12 years and is a sector specialist in Commodities, Healthcare and Food and expert in supply chains and their financing. She was most recently a Senior Managing Director in a UK fintech unicorn and was recognised as one of the UK’s 30 most influential black leaders in Fintech and Data.

She works daily with founders, supported by a team that provides guidance to the founders, enabling them to scale, in a risk thoughtful and capital sensitive manner, their ‘African Swallows’.
